I want to ram my ph1 :)

K, so i have a ph1. I Have the Std filter box with a K&N filter, to which i have fitted 80mm CAF's which hang down below the headlight, quite far down actually.

So what im thinking of doing now, and please tell me if this is gonna be a bad idea, is to run one of the CAF's to where the spotlight is and have a trumpet put inplace of the spotlight. So i will then be running with one caf having ram induction, and the other one will just be hanging where it is right now.

Good idea??

Spotlight, guessing you mean fog light? Been done by loads of people.

ye sorry i meant the fog light. so it would be fine to run the one tube to the fog and let the other one just be where it is then?

Why not just have one big CAF from the fog light instead of 2 small pipes pointing different ways?

Ye but the ph1 box has two feeds running to it, so it would be a bit of a headache to make them run to one.

So if ram induction doesnt work until 150 mph, why do so many people do it??
Just for looks?

Sounds like its a bad idea then. Thanks for the feedback peeps ;)

Lad put a topic up a while back with pictures how he converted a twin to single.

I wouldnt get drawn in to this ram debate. Cold air feed sticking at the front of the car will suck in more air than having it hidden
