Idea of cost for eibach springs to be fitted ?

Buy a pair of axle stands and a trolley jack, say£60. Then an hour to fit your self. Tis easy.

Very easy. Hardest part was getting the top strut nut off or rejoining it to the hub.

I drove to a garage, had them undo the top strut slightly with an impact driver and had the wife help me get the bolt in to the hub.

I had a quote today but not sure of the price for just the springs as I asked to be quoted on eibach springs and front shocks , to fit the labour was £ 160 thst includes 4 wheel alignment ( swr stirling ) . Currently have the shocks going to order eibachs tomorrow . I thought it could all be done in 2 hours but maybe the shocks take an hour each ?

So are front shocks an hour each ?

Hell... No!

Fronts will take 30mins unless your fixings need work to get off. As stated above you may be better taking it to a garage to get the top but buzzed off though.

The pair... If you have access to air/power tools it's a piece of piss.

I'm not far from you mate. Fitted springs and front shocks on my dci, would be happy to lend a hand if you wanted. Cant imagine it's much different on a 182

Took me a bit longer than 30 mins a side tbf, but I didn't have air tools and the top nuts were a b*****d to get off!

My record is 23min to do all 4 corners, but i still charge 1 hour labour

where some places get their prices from is beyond me! £160 is a ripoff! I though SWR were Renault specialists not con-men!
