idle control valve and samco induction elbow

is there usually another part added to the idle control valve so that it connects to a samco induction elbow.

the pipe on the samco seems to small to fit over the idle control valve as can be seen in the pic

am i missing something

looks like you'll have to bodge something up. That elbow is for a PH2 and the pipe is for the oil breather.

Yea as above, If you can find a bit of pipe to fit over the VDO the samco part should fit inside that

i think i can bodge some thing for it

will it be ok to run with no filter on the idle control valve till i get around to bodging it
