Idle, running rich problem

  Golf R & Clio 172
Question! So had the cambelt, dephaser etc done on my car & it's now developed problems.

The timing is spot on.

Guy who did it said the it was slightly out and he has put it correct.

The problem: The cars running very rich which is causing it to have a bad idle and stalling also seems to be down on power.

First fault was Circuit intake temperature manifold sensor. Bought a new one and sorted the wiring and now that one has gone.

Then the 02 sensor before cat fault came on - The car has a full custom system and has no 02 lambda sensors in it?

The car ran perfect before the dephaser, belt job so why has it developed these problems? Only difference was the timing was put correct - was the timing out on purpose for it to run without the lambda sensors?

TIA!

It will need a lambda unless the map has been altered. And in that case, the map may have been set up with the wrong timing.
