idle speed control valve

Anyone know if the idle spped control valve is the same on all mk1 clios? I need one for my rsi.

After talking to renault several times about it and being given 3 different prices for, suposedly, the same item I have no faith in my local renault garge to actually order the correct part! Especially when they turn round and say whats an idle speed control valve?

So im after a used one.

and put in what youre looking for, you should get about 3 or 4 companies contact you with different prices.

i paid £20 + delivery for mine, a bit better than £165 + VAT + Labour that Renault wanted for one!

theres a bloke over on RSC breaking a RSi mate. sure you could nick the ISCV off his.

there should be a bosch part number on the side starting with 0 280



make sure the numbers match up on the part you are getting otherwise the flow rates and pin configurations might not be correct

is 0 132 correct for a 1.4RT?

the idle valve is different on the rsi compared to other clios because it is a laguna engine(the 1.2/1.4s use a stepper moter not an air valve).any 1.8/2.0 8 valve laguna will have the same valve.
