If you dont bed pads in properly, are they destroyed???

basically i dont think i bedded my mintex extreme in properly and now they arnt to great! have ui fucked them? or should a few weeks easy driving sort them out?

I don't think you'll recover them personally. Once you've overheated them without proper bedding in you have wrecked them. Good job they're cheap !

I would have thought you could recover them by taking the surface layer off somehow and starting again. Pulling them out and putting them in a milling machine would sort them out real quick. I'm not sure how many weeks of easy driving it'd take though. Probably easier to get another set.

Whats do you mean there not good? Did you bleed the brakes as that makes a difference.

You can glaze pads and I'm not very impressed with those pads anyway I changed a set not long ago for stock Halfords ones and they are much better the Mixtex ones seem to have cracked up in use. Stock FDB845 Halfords one even on contstant track use never cracked up as much.
