Not sure a 90 would quite have the guts to cope on some of the recent stages. Not all about 4wd, more about speed and light weight. How many years did Schlesser do really well with a rwd buggy

Personally i wouldn't mind a go in one of those mental support trucks. But sod digging that out.

There was a pretty interesting documentary by Charlie Boorman, doing the Dakar with a load of the long way down/around crew running a support 4x4. He didn't finish as broke his wrist or something. Still a good watch.

where did you get this info from roy? a 182 leaves frp's for dead.
