11 or 12 is what is usually quoted.
Problems have been lised numerous times:
Rusty rear arches
Any engine work being expensive due to lack of space: alternator, water pump, cambelt
Induction kits a waste of time as all they do is make a nice noise but suck in hot air. Stick to standard airbox with performance element or get a viper/bmc cda.
Electrics need checking as switches, relays and motors can go.
Some sunroofs leak
PAS can be noisy
Clutches are heavy but a heavy one is a sign of a worn one. You get used to it but was much lighter when a new one was fitted.
Trim squeaks.
Other than that they are great fun and I cant see mine being replaced for quite a while after 4 years of ownership.
