Illustrator help!

How the hell do you change the colour of the dotted line brush from black? Racking my head for the last hour, gotta be something simple.

just click the stroke tablet and put in your colour.

Ive just opened Illustrator to try and work it out for you, but I cant even find how to draw a dotted line!

I can help, but where I can find the "dot line brush"?? I never seen that.

From the tool box, there are 2 squares at the bottom, one is fill color and one is outline/stroke color. Click "X" can switch the square. I think you select the stroke and select the color from swatch libary, you will be fine.

Yea, thought was the obvious stroke pallette, but its not. applied the dotted line brush to my rectangle and it's like the cut-out dotted line. Changing stroke colour doesn't change it, odd I though.

select the brush in the brush palette - then top right of palette select the options and go to Art Brush Options and change the key colour.

Also make sure you got the colour u want it to be selected as stroke colour then in the key colour options use hue i think.
