Anyway, I'm having issues with my decisions and I need some advice. On my current car, which is now a 19k mile 1.1 TCE Mark 3, I have the opportunity to put a 3 plate clutch, a wide intercooler and a K03S turbo on it at low boost and maybe drill and stud the head in the future to run even more. I like the idea of this, as the 1.1 is extremely economical when not ragged resulting in me getting about 59MPG on a motorway run which to most is amazing for a petrol 4 cylinder car.
I'm still running the KTEC map as usual with no problems, except for the Turbo being too small.
Alternatively, I can go find an RB200, an RX8 or S2k instead and although fork out a shedload more - reliability comes with (maybe not so much for the RX but still a good car).
Opinions? Honest ones please.
