Checked bottom ball joints? They bolted up tight, seen a few stories of them knocking on here

^ yup, time to rule out your bottom ball-joints by levering with a large jemmy bar between the arm and the hub-carrier knuckle. If any vertical movement then it needs replacing (it could just be un-tight but its more likely to be seised in the pinch bolt than be loose in my experience)

did you get any noise from the front when setting off like a banging as it could well be the cv joint on the drive shaft that banging

its when i go over bumps, it rattles and sounds like the nosie in the video as i move the shaft left to right, funny you should say cv, the boot was loose last week to put some grease in and clipped it back on

ive wiggled the wheel all ways in the air, and there seems to be nothing, ill try in on the floor

this is now and again, when driving, in a straight line and corners its fine, as soon as the road gets bumpy (majority of roads down here) it knocks, then 'rattels' afterwards, im pretty sure its drivers side, so when i moved the shaft yesterday and found that nosie i thought i was onto a winner,

as the passenger side moves a minimal amount and doesnt 'clunk' whereas the drivers side shaft in the video had a fair amount of play in it which is hard to see, and the knocks are made from pushing the shaft into the CV, 'clunk' pull out towards box and it clunks again, and its pretty loud
