I think you'll also notice a difference in handling - Valver isn't as "planted" in everyday driving.

not as 'planted', do you think lowering and widening with spacers is a good idea with 16's[easy to do without probs?] or 15's better all round? thanks

Williams has more low end power.

Mk1's = Money pit. If the willy is reliable keep it, because the chance of getting another reliable one is slim to none.
