Very much soArnt the 197's an ass to drive when cold.
Buy a 182.
Tbh i dont know i this is the reason for the postwhat are you reasonably expecting as a benefit of "downgrading" to an older car?
I only drive as i own the business so everybnow and again i need to pop out to go suppliers2 miles? Walk/run/hop or cycle. Why drive?
I love driving the car just one a question thats been in my head since i brought it i was torn between the 197 and 182Don't take this the wrong way mate but you really don't sound like your interested in driving at all
For 2 miles a day if it's reliable, I'd just keep it.
FunWhat do you like from a car?
I think i need to... just to cure the curiosityIf you fancy trying one mate, do it.

I get to drive it more than 2 miles on a weekend but 6 days out of 7 its just that small crap trip2 miles of fun a day, about 4 minutes?
Even i can last longer than that and i have 5 kids!
I know that feeling from the the mk1I can only see you being disappointed after the first week, if honest.
Once the novelty of "oh look, this car's marginally quicker" will come the "someone please stop that FACKIN RATTLE!!!!" and "What....NOW WHAT!" and all the other great lines that become part of ownership of a decade-and-a-bit-old Renault
That sounds like a planSell 197. Buy 200. Turn into fast road/track car. Walk/cycle to work.
Sell 197. Buy 200. Turn into fast road/track car. Sell after doing 1 track day. Walk/cycle to work.
It's not stripped. VoidEdited for typical-CS accuracy
