To get a new CD player for my car but want to be able to use my wheel controls if possible, ive heard about stalk adaptors but tbh i aint got a clue where to start!

What brands work with stalk adaptors or do all?

Kenwood, Alpine and Pioneer iirc.
And Sony.

you will need to talk to an ice supplier, you will probably need to go for an alpine or sony unit, as they have input for the remote cable you need. the cables are available from autoleads.

I can't use the bloody stalk control on my Clio yet. As I have got an Alpine CDA-9812RB H/U fitted, but they haven't made the steering/stalk control adaptor for the 2005 Clio, yet!

You just need to pick the hu brand and then the vehicle adapter works well enough with my alpine 9855r.
You need one of each to suite the car and the hu brand.

It should be the same for any clio after 98 i think it is.

No, they've changed it for the 2005 model so none of the current adapters work.
