Hello,
I had issues with steering wheel on my Clio Mk3 2 yrs ago, replaced it with one from another Clio mk3. Now, because I had to change a lightbulb, I removed the battery and car did not start again. Local mechanic diagnosed a problem with immobiliser, had it towed to dealership, they hooked it up to a computer and found that immobiliser does not recognise steering wheel, so it prevents starting. The only solution they say is replacing the steering wheel with a brand new one, which costs almost as much as the car is worth. Any suggestions, what else can be done about this?
