Immobiliser Fault Clio 182 04

Hey guys!

So Ive done a search through all the Immobiliser faults but I need some help.

So a few weeks ago my car wouldn't start, Immobiliser stayed on solid. it would crank over just would fire up.
So i looked through the faults on here tried some of the fixes I.E lock and unlock a couple of times and it would start. this happened every couple od days,
I went to start it to day and same fault occurred cranking but no start Solid Immobiliser light. How ever no matter what i try now for the past 4 hours it wont start.

any ideas guys? Im currently not insured on it. so cant get it to a dealer/specialist

Try your spare key if you have one the keys are made of chocolate

Yeah ive tried both keys still no luck! any ideas guys!!! I dont want to keep trying as my battery will surley go flat soon!

When this was happening to mine I re-set the immobiliser and i've had no problems since.
If you've not tried it then do this:
Turn the key to on position (one click before the engine turns over) and leave it for 30 seconds. Then turn it back to off, leaving the key in the ignition for 30 seconds. Then turn it back to on position again for 30 seconds, then start the car, and it should start as normal.

Weird innit!
I tried tried all sorts of stuff, new key, new battery in my old key, re-set the ecu, disconected the battery for half an hour...
I found this on some obscure Renault forum and it worked. No idea why or how though aha
And no worries
