So I recently bought a replacement engine for my cup, it came with the ecu, uch and key fob.
Budgie finished fitting the engine yesterday however it won't start. The car won't start/crank and the immobiliser light stays on then flashes red.
The original ecu etc was then fitted and started, however as the new engine has catcam 421's it was obviously running like a dog.
Ideally I would like to get the car running on the new ecu to save on mapping costs, especially as itb's will added in the future so would rather not pay for mapping twice.
Does anyone know how to get the car to recognise the new ecu/uch/fob?
Also, is the car ok to run long enough to get warm on the old ecu/standard map?
