Immobiliser problem

Hi guys.
Got a problem with my 182 immobiliser.
I've been building the car into a track car over the past 10 months.
I've nearly got it finished but the car won't even attempt to start.
The immobiliser light flashes normal with no key, but when I turn ignition the light flashes quickly, and won't crank over, and the fuel pump doesn't run either.

I cut some of the door looms out and I also (foolishly it seems) cut the led in the gear stick surround out, (reconnected that now but it doesn't light up.)
The ecu and battery were not connected for a long time (months) and I've put a new battery in the key.
Anyone any ideas, I'd really appreciate it.

Impossible to say really now you've been at the wiring. The car needs CLIP and a network test to see what's not happy as it's most likely going to be due to your "mods" hehehe

Yep thought it would be something I've done, but is there anything in the doors which would affect immobiliser?
I've noticed when I've been checking fuses that when I touched the interior lights fuse on the contacts the led in the gear stick surround flashes on once
