Immobiliser yet again!

I've got an 04 plate 1.5 dci, had t less than a week and it's decided it's not going to start! Worked fine this morning, went to get in it 7 hours later and nothing. Pure red immobiliser light comes on and it won't turn over. If I go from position 1 to 3 without stopping it will turn over until the immoblizer cuts in! I have checked all the fuses, and wiggled the barrel about a bit but no joy. Can't think of anything else to do, suggestions? Cheers

i should also mention that the glow plug light does not illuminate at all? possibly due to the immobliliser arming to stop it starting?
