Immobiliser

Hi i have a 1999 V reg clio. I am currently having trouble with my immobiliser. Ive looked all over the internet for a soultion and all i can find is about the bypass code which dosent work on my car as it dosent have central locking or remote locking.

Can anyone please tell me how to bypass the immobiliser or diconnect it. I can then take the car to a garage and get it sorted.

You cant, simple as. The actual keys are very weak on that age of clio, thats probably your best bet.

do you think thats my problem here too? as i dont want to go spending 100+ on a key alone to find out thats not at fault either!

can the immobilisor be turned off by renault or overridden by a 3rd party alarm+immob system, such as a toad?
