Does it matter when look at a speaker?

i want to use a speaker with is 2 Ohms without it being amped!!!

is this ok?

what do you mean without it bein amped?

impedence usually mattes with subs, 99% of speakers are 4 ohm.

it well just be power by the head unit not amp! (i know the head unit is a amp) but i mean not an external one!
 
i wouldnt waste my money with expensive speakers if im running them offa head unit, sending about 20wrms too them
