Import Warrenty

I have a March 2003 172 but its a uk import. Someone mentioned to me today that my warrenty is for only 2 years and not 3 like Uk cars. Is this true???

Thanks Lee, hopefully then the full 3 years warrenty will apply to my vehicle.
