ive got 1 of the first 172 mk2s & its an import but totally the same as the english 1 except for etched windows locking nuts & alarm & as the company i bought it from thought it had an alarm as standard they gave me £400 back for 1. i got a clifford concept 600 lol best at the time £600 anyway back to the subject i had a 1 year pan europe and 2 year extra warranty and renault were fine sorting a few little things that i needed doing on it, they didnt even mention about it being an import . i paid 12k they were £15500 at the time, ill never buy a new car again mind,ive lost 2k a year & non imports have lost 3k

from experience, i have a parrallel import (always destined for uk, just brought in by non reno source), and when i was in having a small problem fixed, they informed me that there was a tyre recall, so i got 5 new contis for free!! no problems wot so ever.... (reg vardy of doncaster)
