Improve Power of the 1.6l 16valver

Hello,

anybody here with some ideas to get more horses out of my 1,6l 16valver??

I already modified some parts but I want to crack the 136hp border...

I´m thinking of a bigger throttle (the throttle of the 138hp version of the F4R-engine might fit???) and sport cams....someone with some tips for me?

Hi Oliver

You have done a good job there! Most people put Valver or 5GTT engines in.

Those are some good power gains you have got by changing the whole exhaust, and addid an induction kit. What else are you planning?

Hi,

as I mentioned above I´m thinking of a bigger throttle flap man and cams with a more sporty profile.

For a turbo charger, there is not enough space and the temperature will become a problem.

There is a supercharger kit existing. It is using a rotrex supercharger ( <A target=_blank href= "http://www.rotrex.eu.comwww.rotrex.eu.com ) but it is very expensive.....

The Kit (including intercoolerans all necessary parts) is offered by a german tuning-company ( http://www.k-power.de/k-power/index2.htmlhttp://www.k-power.de/k-power/index2.html ) for nearly €4,500.- .

The price only alone for the super chrager is about €3,000,-....

I just have to say. This is one of the coolest engine swaps I have seen. It makes our F7R and GTT conversions look too easy. Must be cool to be the first to do the 1,6 16v in a clio! Great job!!!!

Thanks, but I did this already two years ago...better I would have taken a F4P or F4R engine......

You can never have too much power....
