in need of advice on ph1 track car ...

hi eveyone im in need of some help with my clio ph1 172 i want to turn it from a realy fun track car to a realy fast track car with out touching the engine. i have striped out the back and remove all unnecessary weight and run on toyo R888. im not wanting to win the clio cup for intance but just want the make a great car betta. i need advice on the following please + ruff cost

suspension i.e coilovers / spring and dampers ?

brakes i.e fluid / discs / pads ?

exhaust . cat back system ?

bushes and mounts . ? i have slight movement on gearbox when i give it some ?

anything else you might think of i.e whiteline ARB ? and other stuff ?

The following mods will make you quicker than 9/10 of CS members on track:

Decent side mounted bucket seat & harness.
Carbon Lorraine RC5+ pads. Standard discs or Brembo HCs.
Castrol Response Super Dot 4 brake fluid. Braided lines are up to you. I notice no difference.
Dogbone mount for gearbox.
Kini adjustables & Eibach Sportlines
Whiteline ARB

Strip it out properly! by far the best mod for your money!!

aircon,
PAS,
AC,
ABS can all go from the engine bay
cup blower,
windy windows,
tar removal,
sound proofing removal,
loom reduction,
polycarb windows,
inner skin removal

thatll make it go faster in a straight line, as for the corners, see sir daves post! lol

I have no idea on your driving ability, but my advise would be do not upgrade the car until it is the weakest link, get some track days under your belt while it is standard, feel what is letting you down, then look at upgrading once you know exactly what the car is doing under you in all situations.

thats pritty good advice i have only done 2 this year got a rs track day booked in august might get a bit of help there. such a fun car tho for so cheap :)
