In need of some technical help...

Hi there i am after a bit of help to try and get a few lights off on my dash...

Ill start with the SERV light i have taken the car to my local garage and had it plugged into the diagnostics and they have told me that there is a fault with a wire going into the passenger seat how do i fix this? Would i be able to put a resistor in the connector as a few people have done when they fit bucket seats to take the light off?

Second light is the "Monitering Exhaust gases light" which lights up in the bottom right hand corner in the dash...I dont have a clue what to do with this please can somebody shed some light on it for me? A friend told me that i will need a new Cat is there any other ways around it then buying a new Cat?

and the last problem is where can i get a new driver side door lock sensor from? I have to press the unlock door button in the middle of the car everytime i get in and out of the car, so that when i lock the car it locks the doors correctly, becuase if i dont and just open the door it just opens the door and doesnt unlock the rest of the doors (If that makes any sense?)

with regards to exhaust warning light. it isnt necessarily a new cat. u having any runnin probs? i.e lumpy slow accelerate or under powered?

It is a little underpowered yes, but nothing massively different tbh. Do you know how much a new cat would cost?

serv light on its own. = oil level low
with something else its to do with what ever was on.

The lock thing makes no sense to me

the SERV with is on with the air bag light i heard that they both come on together or something.

ill try and explain the door lock problem the best i can...

The door auto lock when you are driving along and then when you stop and open the door it should unlock all the doors not just the one door, becuase when i open the drivers side it doesnt unlock the rest of the door only opens the drivers side door, so then when i press the button on the lock to lock the doors it will open the doors instead of locking them because it thinks that the doors are open.

I had the same problem APPARENTLY its the wiring loom under one of the seats, clios are bad for them going pete tong

I think theres a guide somwhere to sorting this, i tried and failed unfortunately, hunt round and find it mate

just fiddle the wires about below the passenger seat! should go off! if it comes on again just move the wire/and or connection! see if this works?
