Indicator prob please help!

hi guys just driving along and then my indicators just stoped working,its not the fuse,it still clicks once when you put the stalk down,the hazzards dont work and the hazzard button is not illuminated anymore,very now and again after loads of down clicking they blink for a split second,and when i lock the car my aftermarket alarm flashes them normal but i guess thats becuase of how its wired,its a mk1 phase 3 guys

got no money to pay anyone so please help,
any common faults like this?
anyone have any idea with some instructions if you can to point me in the right direction,realy need to sort it quick as im a delivery driver,

I think there is a known problem with hazard switches on this car. If its still under warranty I think a visit to the dealer is required.

The indicators share some common wiring and work through the hazard switch. Your alarm will be wired on the output side of the switch so the fact that works the lights, proves the wiring and bulbs are not faulty.

Try prodding the hazard switch several times in quick succession and see if that fixes it.

thanks mate its an old mk1 97 model tho so no warrenty but i took the hazzard switch out but no joy with the wires,there still is life in it but only flashes once quick every like 15 click downs
