Indicator Problem

Help needed!!!! come to start the car tonight to give one last check over the car before the MOT is due tomorrow and the right hand indicator is constantly flashing even when the stalk is in cancel position. any help would be appriciated!!!!

nope just on as soon as you turn the key, the only time it stop is when you indicate left.

sounds like the stalk is fecked.
mine wouldn't go left,got a different stalk and it work straight way
