Induction for 1.6 ?

I'm after an induction kit for my 1.6 just for a bit of noise, don't really want just the go the k&n route because of heat soak issues though i'm aware i'm going to suffer from it with pretty much anything.

Was wondering what people recommended ? Don't really want to be spending viper money as its not justifiyable to be spending that much on a posh air filter.

Have been looking at the KTR ramcharger seems to be a good mix between noise and not being an open filter, what to people think of these ?

BMC do one for the 1.6

i'd rather stay oem than have a ramcharger

Hmm, that bad eh ?

The BMC one looks possible, reading on 2modified it says its not a specific kit and some modification may be needed which isn't a problem as long as its not too drastic.
Can't see to find any specific info on it and the BMC site only lists a CDA for the V6, has anyone got/had one ?

In this application you need to modify the CDA flange to fit the CDA box to your air intake.

Wonder what it means by this?, sods law theres no picture of the clio 1.6. :dapprove:

buy a gen 2 k&n . ive brought one and fitted it today . sounds wicked around 4-5 and ahalf revs . i post some pictures up tomorrow .

Only problem with them is that your paying more than viper money and they don't fit the Ph2 apparently.
Will still be interested to see pics though.

heres my gen 2 filter , it fits fine . only payed £190 for it which is 60 quid cheaper . i was going to go for the viper but ive heard storys that they are no good and the foam inside the filter brakes up !! imressed with the induction roar on this ! its loud when you go past 4000 revs , but i cant notice any power gains tho .
