induction kit on a 1.6

Car  Mk2 Clio 1.6
ive been thinking of buying one, but would it require a re-map?

or is it silly to put on a 1.6 altogether?

is it better for the engine to get a re-map? and how much roughly is it to do?

cheers, Chris

Induction kit on its own is largely pointless.

It'll sound louder, but won't make it faster.

If combined with a decent exhaust and a remap, it'll make a slight difference.

It will be fine without a remap and will make no noticable difference at all tbh. The biggest trouble with the 1.6 is getting the required piping to fit one.
