induction kit

  White Sti Hatch
Not worth the cash to be honest less your just looking for noise

an older K&N kit will fit it

Abbot this is your first car right? I presume you have just passed your test or maybe still on a provisional. Leave the car standard and enjoy it for what it is. Insurance will be bad enough without having to declare mods

hi mate, sorry everyone is being so useless but the only thing i can think of is to maybe call into your local halfords?

if you give them your car details they should be able to tell you if k&n/pipercross and other makes can do one for your vehicle with the cost etc.

other than that your best bet is to ring suppliers directly as i very much doubt people on here will be able to tell you what will fit as you'll then need the part number etc!

hope this has helped

halfords - i dont think you should trust them they told me it was ok if i put alloys on and the tyres rubbed off the wheel arch

ktec said they have one to fit my car

I got a K+n off ebay for £20 posted (but got lucky on that one)
haven't noticed any real difference, certainly not worth the full price. Saying that it's one of the cheapest mods with biggest gains. (Sound) as your not gonna get anything more out of a 1.2!
You can't polish a t*rd!

you can have it with a powertec as shown in the photo.

Something I have just thought of, you know this will also void your warranty?

Hi

If your car is the same setup as the K-tec pic you can do this mod for a lot less, try Motorworld as they sell lengths of stainless piping including bends for about £20 they also do universal filters for a tenner so then all you need is a silicone elbow so what you would need to do is measure the diameter of the throttle housing and make sure the silicone hose would fit over it and at the other end make sure the stainless pipe fits inside the hose snuggly, you could do it for about £50 - £70 I reckon, they even do the little breather filter for a £5! Motorworld do do the silicone piping but theres no price and it may be expensive from them, so try demon tweeks!

Alloy pipe - http://www.motor-world.co.uk/show_prod.php?prod_id=8711
Silicone pipe - http://www.motor-world.co.uk/show_prod.php?prod_id=11193

or demon tweeks - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=ROAD&pcode=SAME90-6.5

Just remember to make sure its secure with jubilee clips and you might need to tie wrap it secure to stop it moving around.

This is if your on a budget and just want noise but you should get something close to the ktec kit, just make sure you get the sizes right :)
