induction kit

right guys wat induction kits would u recommend for my clio 172 ?
i would like a nice sort of deep sound from it and will it do anythin performance wise ?

i was looking at one of those £329inc vat and delivery, but today ive booked my car in too RS TUNING in leeds for a dyno remap for £395 inc vat he reackons he can get upto 15 bhp on a standard 182

15bhp from just the mapping? doubt that very much mate but good luck. Probably looking at about 5 or 6bhp but also good torque gains, less flat spots and a higher rev limit

Maxogen is probably the best but the BMC CDA is a great alternative at about half the price on ebay!

i hope it does he seemed very cofident on the phone earlier he said he would put it on the rolling road 1st then remap the rolling road again he told me he did one this morning (standard car) said you could possibly get even more, but im a bit weary now as of what you have just said

green cotton with cold air feed, got mine for £68 from motorworld and at low revs it sounds like a scooby if thats what sort ov noise you like?

don't worry, you'll get between 12-15 bhp and up to 30 lb/ft of torque increase

Ive had mine mapped and i can guarentee i dont have an extra 15bhp!

He/she wants to know what the best induction kit is, not best re-map!

i'll happily prove you wrong. i have ktec group n remap, induction kit and ktec stealth. rollers on saturday gave me 174.5bhp and 151.8lbf.ft.

standard 172's were doing about 169-170. thats not 12 bhp

and in terms of induction, if you can afford the ITG then go for it, BMC similar but cheaper. there are a few about, search button is your friend
