well, on a small motor it ont make much difference. Is cheapest and it keeps the engine sucking in cold air from outside. Most induction kits where the cone filter is outside dont really work too well. By smoothing the inside of the airbox (i.e. cutting and usung sand paper to remove mouldings) you will ease up the airflow, and the replacement filter will help it breath better.
