Induction kits

Whats the best induction kit u guy's recomend for my 172 cup? they say that the power tec kit makes an awesome sound!

What you do is type "Induction Kit" in the seach bar and you get shizel like below.

There're lots of filters about from various manufacturers (K&N, ITG, Pipercross, Green) but IMO stay away from open cones as you just end up sucking in lots of nasty hot dry bad for your engine air.

IMO one of the best types is the BMC CBA because it's an enclosed unit which if you run a decent CAF (Cold Air Feed) to will give you the sound and also completely fresh air. Other types of closed filter are the Maxogen from ITG and the Viper from Pipercross.

The enclosed units do how ever cost a fairbit more than the open cones but it's up to you.

Renault V6 Espace box tbh, best £65 ive spend on the 172. Failing that an ITG Maxogen for £250+? LOL

No proven gains for either mind you, although my car is going on the rollers after having a V6 box fitted at the weekend so I will have a before and after figure.
