You may not have much choice other than a publication such as Auto Trader etc. While you think you car looks fantastic, most people will be suspicious. It was exactly the same when I come to sell my GT - I got loads of positive comments, but no one would actually take the plunge.
I even took it to a Punto specialist who spent 15 minutes going over the car and was amazed at the condition at the backup of receipts and stuff that I had for the car. He said the problem with cars such as these is that they attract the 18-year-old scallies - the ones whove no hope in hell in getting insured in the first place, but want it for a test drive. He said the margin that they would actually make on the car, isnt worth all the hassle.
Stick you neck out and hope for the best with AT. Mine was in there for four days with nothing and then like buses, I had people coming from all at once to look at it. I got just £95 less than what I was asking for it as well....
