sorry to sound dumb but, i dont know much about cars and i was wondering, isnt the gearbox part of the whole clutch i bought? if so then what the hell is the problem lol

I doubt they'd have ordered a new gearbox without telling you especially considering cost, what did they say they have ordered ?

And what was the problem initially?

bah thats say gay, i typed a essay on this and it didnt get through lol. anyway it started last week or so when the clutch started to vibrate at the biting point badly, i noticed this was obvious since i drive it everyday. it deteriated and started becoming really loud when in traffic and changing gears and i can smell rubber or something burning. opened the bonnet and you see a thing under the engine, when u move the clutch this thing moves. it was shaking when idle, and hsaking even more when clutch was down. my renault m8 told me it was the fork or the clutch so i bought these parts n took it to the garage like i mentioned above. on my sisters 1.2 16v clio the same part that was shaking on mine, doesnt shake at all on hers. but it moves when she presses the clutch down. so i was told it was the clutch!

Well mine does something very similar when it wants to and i'm 99% sure its the clutch release bearing failing causing it, which would have been part of the clutch kit you bought.

Hmm. Do you know exactly which part they've ordered?

if the gerar box is the same set up as on my 5 turbo behind the clutch falk there is a metal ball that the falk pivots on this has a plastick cap that wears through and then wears the falk its self .... could be the plastick cap? as i have changed these my self on the 5 :approve:
