info on 172 please.

hello all.

soon to be buying a mk 2 172. just after some info on them. like, does the cd and multichanger come as standard? i have heard something about cruise control? and just to compare to my old car, what is the top speeds in each gear? oh and does anyone know where there is some pics of the inside of one? thanks

the cd changer came standard on my 02 plate but i know it depends on the year of the car as it is now an option, cruise doesnt come as standard and would have to be specced when ordering the car, as for the figures and pics im sure someone will post them up for ya

2nd is about 65

4th about 115

5th - 144 ive seen.

tested speedo with GPS and its dead accurate too.

yeah cool. cheers mate. checked the galary, no pics of inside tho. speeds are simalar to vts. just 172 does it faster. i had 143 on vts. but i bet its was way out.

craggys shows 140 on his vts, dont know how accurate it was tho, my old VTR was out but not by much.

i havent got a cd changer, but i can buy the CHD-6025 VDO Dayton 6 disc that would come with it for 170notes, and i have to fit it. shouldnt be too hard.
