Just incase anyone needs to know all MOMO's with an "S" in the name are designed for lift up reverse

and

MOMO Match Anthracite

to go in my 2002 1.6 Dynamique

Ive done a search on here and read through all the infomation i could find and its a little vague considering how hard it sounds. I was wondering if someone could give a bit more of a detailed guide as how to do it before i take a hacksaw to my gear stick and a drill to my pedals.

Cant work out whether it would look better to just leave the pedals black rubber as they are, want my car looking classy not chavy?

My gear stick has a black plastic insert rather than a aluminium one, dont know if it is moulded into the knob or not but will be able to just saw through it, if needs be.

are you removing and replacing the little things you pull up to go into reverse or does the new knob sit on top?

Is the gear stick going to be shorter in height once i have replaced it?

I am also thinking about replacing my inside door handles as the lever is currently black plastic. Are the silver ones made of metal or just sprayed plastic?
Should i buy a set of second hand handles or just spray the levels on my current ones?
how hard are they to fit new ones?

Dont no about in a 2002 1.6 Dynamique, but in my mk1 clio. i took the old pedals off the clutch and brake and drilled into the metal. but on the accelerator i had to drill on to the rubber cus when u remove the pedal theres no metal plate behide it..

as for the gear knob havnt changed mine yet but im sure the plastic left up bit is attacted to the gaitor and not the knob

done both of mine in a dynamique....gear nob was a hacksaw jobbie....leave the collar where it is for your lift up reverse....just cut off the whole knob right down to the shaft (excuse the terms used) and your momo will pop straight on...the bolt however wouldn't secure my momo on so i just used some araldite or however its spelt and its been safe for a year......as for pedals clutch and brake were drilled through (with some difficulty i might add) and the new momo's bolted on.....for the accelerator i bolted onto the plastic pedal already there...again they've been fine for the past year (although the rubber inserts on my momos have started to peel off so will need some replacements soon).....good luck :)

only done the gearknob on mine but was a shitty expression one to a dynamique job and it really is a hacksaw jobbie as said.

when i asked how to do it and was told hacksaw i told the guy if he didnt have anything decent to say dont say it, then found out he was actually being serious lol
