Injector cover missing - anything else?

Hi,

I've just bought a 182 that needs a little bit of work. I've attached some pictures of part of the engine bay, I know from looking around on here that the injector cover is missing, and I've found one on ebay I could get hold of, but I just wanted to makesure that there is nothing else needed that would go under the cover? The reason I ask is because there is currently some kind of pipe or breather, shown in the pictures, that isn't currently attached to anything. Does the injector cover have a connection for this or does it just not connect to anything? What is it for?

Injector cover is only a lump of metal. Installed there for crash saftey reasons. You could upload a picture to imageshack and post the link in here for a more detailed answer.

The first pic is a bit of a wider angle and the second is one a bit closer up of the pipe I was trying to describe.

Does the Injector Cover just fit over this or is there something else I'm missing?

That's fine. Only the fuel rail guard (injector cover) is missing.

Do you know if an injector cover off a cover from a 1.4 clio would fit a 182, found this on ebay:

Looks the same as the 1*2 item. Not 100% sure though.

isn't this to help stop the fuel rail being broken in an accident ? to stop fuel pissing out everywhere. should have one on really

Incase anyone wants to know for future reference.

A 1.4 Clio Injector cover fits a 1*2!
