injectors not working

Hi all, right we have a 1.6 clio and we have just put the engine back in but we have found that there is no fuel getting into the cylinders. we have put it down to the vacuum valve on the fuel rail not working we belive that its not opening the valve and allowing fuel into the injectors does any body have any surgestions or know where the vacuum pump for the fuel system is.

Pop the fuel line off at the rail, if your not getting fuel, it's a supply issue. The valve you speak of is the pressure regulator. This has nothing to do with no fuel.

There is a red button on the passenger suspension turret. Press this, it is most likely the cause.

If there is fuel from the line when it turn the Ign on, then its probably immobiliser related.

We pressed the red button down and this has no effect on it and there is fuel coming out of the feed pump but then if we take off the return pipe nothing comes out ?

There should be. The pressure is circa 2 bar on idle conditions iirc, how much have you primed it? And when cranking is there a steady flow from the input line.

There is a steady flow from the input line and i dont understand what you mean by primed.

How many times have you turned the ignition on and off?

Can you post a picture of the fuel rail where the fuel lines go in?

In the 3 picture on the far left fuel is coming out of that pipe
