Inner track rods

Has anyone used one of these tools for changing inner track rods on the 172/182, seems like a really good option.

Yes that is what I use, I forget the size of mine, but its correct for genuine parts but too small for pattern ones so if you are removing genuine and replacing with pattern you need two different sizes unless you get one with the correct range, as despite the nut size being the same, the profile of the curved section is different.

Having used both methods, I much prefer the tool, slide it on, apply nut gun, done, literally takes only a few seconds.

Nice one, would be perfect for when I go racing. Have you swapped out cup track tods chip, is it long enough? So how does it work, eccentric wheels inside I guess and do they have a knurled texture on the teeth/wheels for grip.

Its WAY longer than any clio track rods mate, and yes its got a cam inside it so the harder you turn it the more it bites.
