Installing a Sony query

Hi,

Im planning to fit my Sony tomorrow morning as my autochanger has arrived.

My query is that the wire for the changer is a Bus? wire that obviously plugs to the back of the headunit, however i need that bus port for the connects2 box i assume?!!!?

Does the changer plug into the connects2? I assumed that the wiring loom for the car plugged into that!

Somebody must have installed a sony stereo with a cd changer and connects2?

if its a sony headunit and sony changer and connect2 box for a sterring mounted remote, then you should plug the bus connector from the changer direct to the headunit, dont quote me on this though, aint 100% sure, but better than the fifty million suggestions so far

i know the one you mea, does the connect2 connect to ( ha ha ) the bus port or what ??

yes the connects 2 has a loom and a bus port plug.

hard to explain.

Yes the connects2 thingy had the port for the bus wire, all fitted, well just - i had to physically force the stereo into position what with the extra wiring and the connects2 box it didnt want to go, and sure as hell will never come out!

Did it all under the light of the interior curtesy light. lol.
