installing java. problem...

Go onto the java website and try and download said program...

comes up with this:

SOLUTION

Following is the suggested workaround for this error.

Manually remove the 1.4.2_xx JRE:

1. Download Microsoft Windows Installer removal tool.
2. Run the tool and select the JRE entry for removal.

there is no JRE entry for removal in my list. weird... really annoyed now!
