Can someone explain this to me. i'm aware it can be used to download pirate apps, but does it have any other uses?

if you install it, how does it affect itunes?

just want to know other uses and how it affects the phone, i pressume there must be some other benefit as i found it in a top 10 cydia apps webpage but it didn't explain much, that is all
