Installshield error 0x80040706

So I'm trying to install a driver for a new webcam, and installshield's throwing up this error. Now I've followed their consumer help instructions, but when I try to install the different version of the installer, it has the same problem.

So basically, I can't install the driver because the installer is broken, and I can't install the fix of the installer.... because the installer is broken. FFS!

Any thoughts?
