Instrument panel died

The instrument panel on my MkII Clio 172 died. Has anyone had this happened to them before? The dealer reckons the whole insturment panel needs to be replaced... There must be a better way....

Normally if it dies, its pretty much useless.

New panel goes in and replaces it.

Altho, depending if you get a new one, ur millage will start at 0 again.

need to put a new panel in mine at some point, when it was imported it had been fitted with a non-RS panel, no trip computer or silver dials, its a job i have never got around to
