Hi,
I had an accident around 1 and a half years ago. When my insurance company sent me my renewal I was very surprised as it was a lot cheaper than I expected. After studying it for a while I realised the reason that it was so cheap was because they had stated that I had 1 year no claims bonus.
This was not the case as I had had an accident around 6 months previous to the renewal. I called them up and after a long time holding they can back and said it was their mistake and they would honour the quote.
I am concerned that this year they may bump the premium up or even take away my no claims bonus to make up for the error.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Dave
