insurance company taking the piss

ARG im a bit pissed with quinn direct as they have been having problems with my direct debit, i got it all set up and after a month they sent me a letter saying it hadnt been payed as there was a problem with the direct debit.
i went to the bank and got it sorted i set another up, and again the same thing happend a month later each time having to pay by card, when i thought i had payed it so had no money when i had payed it in the end.

anyway today i get a letter from them saying its happend again and i have to pay the rest of the insurance off in ten days a hole £720 as theyre not going to use the direct debit again with me.

i went to the bank and they say everythings fine and they havnt had any requests for the money from quinn and quinn say its the bank not letting them take the money. im so pissed off about this as its a hole lot of f**king about.

anyone else had problems with them at all?

insurance is the gayest thing, next year for me to insure a 172 its 3600 and for a supra 1800 wtf is the deal with that.

Can't insure the RS clio as N.Irish insurance is mental

Cheapest quotes for most people in N.Ireland as they are based over the border and don't charge for mods :approve:

Been with them for 3 years - this my first year paying by direct debit. So far so good

What bank are you with?
Some banks have difficulties paying direct debits to some companies

they dont charge for mods? so if i put aloys on my car they wouldnt charge me for it?

Im with hsbc and i have no idea what the problem is as they both say everything is fine there ends.
i think ill go to the bank monday and get them to sort it there and then and call quinn.

I was with quinn on my bmw but they wouldnt insure my 330d bmw or clio 172 so i left and got a full refund minus a 40 quid charge..! fairly standard i suppose else no problems at all....

i just got a quote from norwitch union for 1135 thats around 200 cheaper than when i started driving would it be worth switching to them as i really dont wanna splash out 700 on the rest of my insurance, i can afford it but i desperatly need a new phone and other bits, ive been waiting for yonks to buy components and a amp GRRRR
