It depends some companies are cheaper than others.
Best try Adrian Flux they are usually the cheapest but depends now many modifications Tesco can be good value with a few modifications.

I got a great quote from Noel Dazely & Co on my Clio they offer really competitive prices on cars with modifications. £595.00 fully comp. with 2 years bonus. Might be worth giving them a try.

when i had an extensively modified car i found graham sykes were 300 quid cheaper than flux. EVEN though it was through the SAME underwriter - NIG
