insurance for GTT conversion

who r people wit coz liverpool victoria have jus said they cant do it! when the other day they said they could!

You cant increase engine size with them. If you have a 1.4 you might be ok!

i have a 1.4RT!

had 2 different quotes one sayin yes and the other sayin no!

but they wont do written quotation so i cant get the evidence!

Just ask them to send the proposal through the post to you, you dont have to take it out. That way youll have it in writing.

When i phoned them up they said, and i quote, "Were quite cool on modifications actually, you can do anything you want apart from change the engine capacity, just send us photos of what youve done".

However lets be honest theyd be pretty f**king stupid to let you fit the GTT engine without making you pay more. However technically you should be able to do it.

well Jon at torsion tuning has a RT wit a GTT conversion and is insured wit liverpool victoria but they said that they wouldnt insure me wit a GTT conversion because the RT isnt a big enough insurance group or something!

ill try again tomorrow and the Doris to call up and try it on her insurance and me under her name!

How did yous go about getting insured with Liveropp Vict. do you have to be part of a trade union or something?

i was told liverpool victoira is cheap and it is! no not part of a union either!

erm im insured on liv vic for my 1.4rt with unlimited mods including engine transplants, i was told and i quote " u can stick ne engine in you want, even a v6"



when i took out my policy i paid an extra 35 quid for unlimited mods which i checked and double checked i could do the convertion with and they said yes.

well as people said beofre ur not actually increasin engine capacity if u have a 1.4RT coz a GTT is a 1.4T

but Malice please check it out coz i need to sort out this engine this week!
